The Waynesville-St. Robert Chamber of Commerce is happy to feature a St. Robert business, a Waynesville Business, and a business from our surrounding area as the Chamber members for the Business Showcase for the month of January. These members are The Hub Restaurant, Lake Movers and Ridge 2 River Outdoors. Ridge 2 River Outdoors was recognized virtually with a special photo. Our surprise patrol visited with the St. Robert and Waynesville businesses and dropped off a special sign to be displayed in their business throughout the month.
The Hub Restaurant
The Hub Restaurant has been in business since September 1974.
The Hub Restaurant offers a variety of services including catering, parties and a full menu of German cuisine such as schnitzel, Bavarian platter and Black Forest. They serve lunch, dinner and breakfast on weekends, with hours from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and the lounge operates until 10 p.m. The lounge features live music, karaoke and monthly comedy and Latino nights. They also offer a dessert menu, German beers and candy. The restaurant is family-owned, with the owner's children and grandchildren involved.
To be a part of the Chamber is such a great honor. They have such insight into our community, a community we want to bring our very best to. We love being a part of a family we can grow and learn from. Being a Chamber member helps us stay connected with the community, especially Fort Leonard Wood, which is integral to our business.
Lake Movers
Lake Movers has been in business since 2021.
Lake Movers has grown to seven trucks and 42 employees including local area directors, serving coast-to-coast from its base at Lake of the Ozarks. The company specializes in moving high-value items and offers comprehensive services, including custom crating and provides free in-person bids. They emphasize legitimacy, holding a unique state certificate and ensuring cargo insurance. Lake Movers values community connections. They also prioritize customer satisfaction, offering damage reimbursement beyond industry standards and maintaining a professional, drug-tested staff.

Ridge 2 River Outdoors
Ridge 2 River Outdoors was created in 2020 as a service-disabled veteran owned small business.
Mike has been an avid outdoorsman his whole life, however, finding quality products in the local community was a big issue. In 2020 Mike decided to create Ridge 2 River Outdoors with a goal of bringing quality products at an affordable price to the average outdoorsman/woman. Joining the Chamber of Commerce is an essential part of business development. After retiring from the Army with over 20 years of service, I know the importance of networking. Being a member of the Chamber of Commerce allows you to network within your local community and to build relationships with other business-minded individuals. The programs and instruction that the Chamber of Commerce offers are an important factor in making your business grow. The biggest take away for me is that I'm able to build up my business and strengthen my community.
