Community Salute to Service is April 29

This unique ceremony will once again celebrate and individually recognize high school seniors from across South Central Missouri who have made a commitment to serve in one of the different branches of military service by enlisting, attending an ROTC program or attending one of the service academies.

This year’s featured speaker is Lieutenant General Johnny K. Davis, Commanding General of the United States Army Recruiting Command.

"We look forward to a great turnout for this special tradition of showcasing our community support for those that have made the decision to serve our country in uniform," Newcomb said. "This amazing event is free and open to the public. We look forward to seeing you there. Thank you."
