Fort Wood Community Spouses’ Club is hosting their Annual Holiday Craft Fair on Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Waynesville High School.
Admission is charged for this event. For those 16 and older admission is $5, for those 15 and younger, admission is free.
Organizers said, this holiday craft fair has become a cherished tradition in the community that brings local artisans together in holiday cheer. Not only does this event bring the community together and gives citizens a chance to support local small businesses and artisans during the holiday season, but it also is one of the two big fundraising events that the FWCSC hosts each year, with 100% of the proceeds from vendor fees, sponsorships, and opportunity drawings going back into the community through scholarships and grants.
“Last year’s fair drew more than 1,500 attendees and helped FWCSC raise nearly $42,000 for scholarships and community grants. This year, the organization is setting its sights even higher, with a goal to raise $50,000 to give back to military families and local organizations.”
Those who attend the FWCSC Annual Holiday Craft Fair can expect a family friendly atmosphere filled with holiday cheer. This event will host over 90 vendor booths, numerous delicious local food trucks, and even an opportunity for photos with Santa! This is a perfect event to find unique and handcrafted gifts for those special people in your life, while supporting local artisans and small businesses within the community.
The Fort Wood Community Spouses’ Club (FWCSC), a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization, is dedicated to building community while supporting military families through friendship, philanthropy, and service.
