The Pulaski Fine Arts Association will present “Murder At The Orient Express” by Craig Sodaro at Theater on the Square in Waynesville this September.
Directed by Toni Rowland, the production is not to be confused with the classic “Murder On The Orient Express.”
While “Murder At The Orient Express” is also a whodunit, the murder mystery takes place in a Chinese restaurant called The Orient Express, rather than on a train. The restaurant is run by two Irish sisters and a German waitress. Just like the original Agatha Christie tale, this story features 12 suspects, all of whom have a good reason to want the victim dead.
An investigation led by Dudley Sharpe, and a vicious snow storm that has everyone stranded, leads to a hilarious time exploring the motives of the restaurant patrons and the method they would have used, had they been the killer.
This romp will keep you guessing until the very end and will prove a delight to all audiences.
Performances are Sept. 12-14 and 19-21, 2025. Show times are at 7:30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 2:30 pm on Sundays. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at www.pfaa-tots.com/tickets.
