Oscar Olivo 4.10.24

Oscar Olivo has served in the Army 16 and was honored by Committee of Fifty April 4, 2024.

Sgt. 1st Class Oscar Olivo, native of San Antonio, Texas, and youngest of five children, joined the Army in 2008, at the age of 22. In addition to Fort Leonard Wood, his duty stations include Fort Carson, Colorado; Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington; and Fort Knox, Kentucky.

Throughout his nearly 16 years of service, Olivo has served in various roles from vehicle driver; team leader; squad leader; platoon sergeant; operations sergeant; to observer, coach and trainer. He is currently a drill sergeant with Company B, 35th Engineer Battalion, 1st Engineer Brigade.
