As we move into the fall season, I want to take a moment to thank each of you for being part of what makes St. Robert such a special place to call home. Our community continues to grow stronger through the dedication of our citizens, businesses, and city staff, and I am always proud to share updates on the wonderful things happening here.
Hometown Grid Reminder
Hometown Grid is the fastest and easiest way to report power outages in our city. By using Hometown Grid, residents can help ensure issues are quickly logged, tracked, and resolved. I encourage all citizens to download and use this tool so that we can better serve you. Please also save the Hometown Grid number in your phone. You can call or text 833-691-3343 to report an outage.

Pulaski County Growth Alliance Meeting
The Pulaski County Growth Alliance meeting will be held on October 15 at 9:00 a.m. in St. Robert City Hall. The public is invited to attend, and it is a great opportunity to hear about what is happening in our area.
Staff Training and Appreciation Barbecue
Earlier this month, our city team enjoyed a special afternoon together for staff training and a barbecue. The event was more than just a meal. It was an opportunity to show our recognition and appreciation for the hard work and dedication of our employees. Taking time to step away from the daily routine allowed us to strengthen teamwork, build morale, and celebrate the people who keep our city running. We shared good food, including pulled pork, plenty of sides and desserts, and even a friendly game of cornhole.
Faith, Family, and Friends Event
On September 11, I was honored to represent the City of St. Robert at the Faith, Family, and Friends event hosted by Maranatha Baptist Academy. It was an evening of reflection on the tragic events of 9/11, honoring those who serve in our military and as first responders, and focusing on the importance of family and faith. I was grateful to support such a meaningful event.
Fall Cleanup Days
Our Fall Cleanup Days are scheduled for October 6 and 7. Residents should place their cleanup items on the curb on their regular trash day, Monday, October 6 for Monday routes, and Tuesday, October 7 for Tuesday routes. This is a great opportunity to tidy up before the winter months. For a complete list of what items are allowed and not allowed, please check the flyer posted on the City’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/CityofStRobert.
Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
I am excited to announce our inaugural Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 1 at City Hall. The event will run from 5 to 7 p.m., with the tree lighting at 6 p.m. There will be activities for children, special appearances by Santa and Mrs. Claus, Frosty the Snowman, and maybe even the Grinch. It promises to be a wonderful evening of holiday cheer for the entire community.
Missouri Municipal League Conference
I, along with several City Council members and staff, recently attended the Missouri Municipal League annual conference. This two-day event allowed us to sharpen our leadership skills, attend training sessions, and bring back new ideas to strengthen our service to you, the citizens of St. Robert. We are excited to apply what we learned to continue building a stronger, more vibrant city.
Closing Thoughts
As always, I want to thank you, the citizens of St. Robert, for your continued support, involvement, and commitment to our community. Together, we make St. Robert a place we are proud to live, work, and raise our families. I look forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming events and continuing the great work of building a strong and vibrant future for our city.
