I wanted to reach out to voice my opinion on "lowering health care costs for Americans".  There are so many sicknesses, and disorders that lead many Americans to need prescription drugs. From what I read this law only governs those that have Medicare. Biden's example that he gave was insulin prices. Insulin can be expensive even with insurance but with this law, only Americans with Medicare can get insulin for $35. As much as I appreciate what Biden and his administration are trying to do with this I do not agree completely. If we use the example of insulin that Biden used; What about childhood diabetes and the parents that have to come out of pocket $400-$500 each month for that medication, not to mention the hospital/doctor visits that they have to pay for? Even for the working family that has kids, it gets expensive especially when health insurance costs an arm and a leg! I understand that many Americans who have Medicare are retired and don't have a lot of funds but at the same time, it can be just as hard for families that are working or a single parent to afford these medications/medical bills. I strongly believe if Biden wanted to help the American people to spend less money on insurance and medical bills he would and should make it accessible to all Americans not just the Americans that have Medicare.
