The season came to an end for the Waynesville High football team Friday, Oct. 31, as the sixth-seeded Tigers fell to third-seeded Springfield Glendale 57-14 in the first round of the Missouri Class 5 District 5 playoffs in Springfield.

In the other District 5 first-round games, second-seeded Capital City shut out seventh-seeded Springfield Hillcrest 49-0 Thursday, Oct. 30 while fifth-seeded Camdenton clipped fourth-seeded Jefferson City 28-26 Friday, Oct. 31.
