The season came to an end for the Waynesville High School girls’ golf team at the Missouri Class 4 District 3 Tournament Thursday, Oct. 9 at the Payne Stewart Golf Course in Springfield.
The top two teams, and other 13 individuals, from the district tournament move on to the Missouri Class 4 State Tournament, to be held Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 20-21 at the Sedalia Country Club.
Raymore-Peculiar captured the team title of the Class 4 District 3 Tournament with 314 while Springfield Catholic was runner-up and the other team qualifier at 321. Waynesville finished 13th at 416.
Page Bowman of Springfield Glendale and Josey Roberts from Ozark shared individual medalist honors, each shooting even-par 70.
Senior Ivy Smith paced the Lady Tigers, tying for 27th overall with 90. Also for WHS, senior Morgan Woods was 63rd with 106, senior Elaine Wu tied for 65th with 108 and senior Brionna Ash and junior Haylee Beels tied for 71st with 112 each.
