Ozark Actors Theatre presents CLUE on stage in their 2024 professional main stage season ‘Oat Goes to the Movies’. This HILARIOUS farce is based on the cult classic film of the same title released in 1985. The show runs July 11- July 21.
This stage adaptation, at Cedar Street Playhouse in Rolla, runs 90 minutes with no intermission and is sure to be a side-splitting good time. For audiences familiar with the film this is sure to please, and audience members who have not seen the film are certain to enjoy the twists and turns of the kooky plot. With eight murder suspects, six murder weapons, and a spooky mansion anything could happen. You will not want to miss this fast-paced, fast-talking romp.
Scenic Design by Jack Golden, Lighting Design by Michael Sullivan, Costume Design by Amelia Brown, Properties Design by Jennifer Kimpel, and Sound Design by Jim Archuleta. This production will feature professional actors from New York City, Chicago, St. Louis, and Florida alongside a stellar cast of local actors. OAT favorite and professional actress Cynthia Morris (known to most as Cindy Beger) returns to the Cedar Street stage as Mrs. Peacock. OAT has always prided itself on the unique blend of professionals and local talents coming together every summer to create quality art in rural Missouri and this uproarious cast will not disappoint.
Clue on stage is directed by Producing Artistic Director, Blane Pressler and sponsored by Phelps County Bank and Brewer Science.
