The Spring Meramec River Wine Trail event is one of four events that are held annually at St. James Winery, Peaceful Bend Vineyard, Eagles Landing Winery and Prairie Barn Winery.
The Meramec River Wine Trail features wineries in the Ozark Highlands American Viticultural Area (AVA), between Historic Route 66 and the Meramec River.
The wineries of the Meramec River Wine Trail have invited the historic Rosati Winery Museum to join the trail this spring. The historic location was recently opened as Tutte le Cose Rosati, which is located in Rosati along the old Route 66.
The first Italian immigrants settled in this area in the late 1800’s planting vineyards to make a quality wine. At Tutte le Cose Rosati you will have a chance to go back in time to learn about the history of winemaking in the area while enjoying a sangria punch mocktail and food pairing.
The wine trail has partnered with local businesses to provide a wine bottle swag bag that will be filled with coupons and other items. Local businesses included are Little Brick House, Designs By Lisa, SJ Nature Shop, Huffman Flowers of the Field, Steelville Arts Council and Power of Hope with more businesses to be added prior to the event.
Enjoy a day or a full weekend of touring the wineries, historic wine museum and shopping at the local businesses of St. James and Steelville. Grab a friend and plan to spend the weekend savoring the fresh spring flavors of the trail! Tickets for the Spring Wine Trail are $30 per person, option of adding on the swag bag for an additional $15.
Tickets do not include transportation between the locations.
